Your unique ability to swap limbs with other aliens has made you an interesting subject. Numerous experiments have scarred your body. You cannot accept it anymore, no more will your kind tolerate this fate. It’s all too much, too painful. It’s time to escape.

ESCAPE
In Escape 51 you play as a small alien that has been mistreated by humans as he works to escape the research facility that has kept him and other aliens like him captive for so long.
You'll have to sneak, hide and solve puzzles as you navigate through the stylized halls of the facility. Meet and befriend other aliens as you all try your best to escape. Your friends will serve you well, as your kind's unique ability to exchange limbs will come into play.
Different aliens have different abilities, their biology will help you move forward. Can you avoid the security guards and make use of the chaos to escape?

WHO ARE WE?
51 Goobcells is a small studio of 11 students from Södertörn Högskola. We are all ambitious students. This project has been in the works for about 2 months with one month of post-production.
This game was made for a university assignment about managing time and production. We had a lot of freedom while making our game, freedom we used to make something we are all truly proud of.
Our plan is to to send in ESCAPE 51 to SGA (Swedish Game Awards), a contest made to elevate university student and hobbyists hoping to enter the industry. Wish us luck!

Honestly, this game is very good, but it hasn’t received the promotion it deserves from content creators, which is a huge injustice to the game as it truly deserves recognition. The game needs a proper advertising campaign targeting top YouTubers to showcase its potential and reach a wider audience.
However, one important note: the game does not support Xbox controllers, which makes the controls more challenging for some players. I hope this aspect gets improved soon
